Who is Epic?
EPIC (Ear Professionals International Corporation) is first in the country to provide a national hearing health plan through its coalition of hearing healthcare physicians and audiologists. EPIC unites physicians focused on hearing and ear disorders, primarily otologists, with the best diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologists in the country.
EPIC was established in 1997. Although the rate of hearing loss has accelerated alarmingly since then, our company has grown in equal measure to help meet the need. Currently more than one in 10 Americans has hearing loss. Among those over age 65, the rate climbs to one-third of all Americans.
EPIC's three service divisions provide comprehensive hearing care for patients and practice management assistance to hearing care offices.
Independent Practice Association (IPA)
The provider network of ear physicians and audiologists throughout the nation who provide hearing health care services to groups, organizations and individuals through the EPIC Hearing Service Plan (HSP).
Third Party Administration (TPA)
An administrative unit which manages and guides all activities of the EPIC HSP and provides hearing counseling to participants in the EPIC HSP.
Management Services Company (MSC)
A practice management and assistance company that provides consultation services for hearing health care offices throughout the nation who participate in EPIC's programs.
