Pro-Act cards to cover eye and ear exams, glasses, hearing aids and Lasik surgery

SARATOGA COUNTY - The Pro-Act prescription discount cards received by every county resident last fall will now provide discounts on eye and ear exams, glasses, hearing aids and Lasik surgery.
The cards are anonymous and offer users up to 50 percent off brand-name and generic prescriptions. They are designed to be used by people without insurance or for drugs not covered by insurance; the discount does not apply to co-pays or deductibles.
Eye exams are discounted up to 20 percent and frames and lenses up to 50 percent. Lasik laser vision correction surgery is discounted up to
50 percent. Hearing aids and products are discounted between 35 and 65 percent.
